I began painting in gouaches in 1988 when I had limited studio space and a need for an easy medium that replicated oils. I love how textural and free you can be with gouaches, I created 100’s and still do. They all started as studies but then became an art piece on their own. A vast amount are in private and commercial collections. They vary in size, considered small, on museum paper. This medium gives me pure raw expression.
